Amit Tiwary is a Software Development Engineer-1 at Flipkart, with a passion for Full Stack Web Development and Competitive Programming. He has a strong foundation in Algorithms and Data Structures and is always keen to learn new things. Amit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Amit has completed a six-month internship at Fastenal as a Software Developer Intern, where he worked on Java tech stack (JSP, Servlets, Spring, JDBC, Hibernate, MySQL) in the E-commerce team. He has also worked as a YouTuber for YouTube and as a Postman Student Leader for Postman, where he conducted the Student Expert Training workshop for students across the world at Postman Galaxy, a global virtual conference held in February 2021, and taught them about APIs and getting started with Postman. Amit's skills include C, C++, Javascript, Java, ReactJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS, Spring, MongoDB, SQL, Git, and Open Source. He has achieved several milestones in his career, such as being accepted in GirlScript Summer of Code GSSoC’20, securing a Global Rank of 3273 out of 32699 participants in the Qualification Round of Facebook HackerCup 2020, and being selected as a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador, a Global Program for students. He has also been rated 5 stars for Problem Solving on Hackerrank, an Online Coding Platform, and has been selected for START Hack’20 Finals at University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Additionally, he was awarded the Best Project in the Completeness Category 'ZendIT' in CodeAsylums Hackathon and was among the top 50 out of 1000 applications of HackABit’18, the largest Hackathon in East India. Amit is open for collaboration and is available for hire as a Software Engineer or Software Developer. He firmly believes that learning is the only constant and is always interested in learning new things. Amit aims to not only become a better Software Engineer but also a better version of himself as he grows along his career.
